Squid\’s Word

OK so Gem loses her wallet….

….a couple weeks ago….

….and swears the last time she had it she was in the van….

So why did I find it under the back seat IN MY TRUCK??

She blames it on pregnant brain. I’m not so sure. I mean she’s never lost one of the kids. Never forgotten where she lives. Eats regularly. Remembers her name and mine.

All while being great with child. I never lose anything. Of course that’s because she’s usually carrying it in her purse. But at least I know where my stuff is!

OK if it sounds like I’m poking fun at her expense, I am. It’s just that I rarely get the chance.

I feel so used…
